I quit Verizon in 2001 because they were trying to unionize the sales people. I don't get that. Why do commissioned sales people need a union? I was making $70k my first year and it had become a warm-body job because our days were occupied with so many internal BS and labor relations meetings, that there was little time left for contacting customers and selling Yellow Page ads. How in the world was a union going improve that.....when the lowest guy on the totem pole was making $70k?
