'79 Turbo Noise
I had posted a few weeks back about my '79 930 making a knocking or clunking noise when the turbo kicks in. I received some great information about the bypass valve gaskets and a series of really good photos on how to change them out. I just got a chance to change them. (The old ones, however, were in good shape) I installed the new ones but, to no suprise, the noise is still there.
Does anyone have any other ideas what this noise could be. It kind of sounds like an exhaust pipe banging on somthing.
The car has 63K miles and is originall.
