Hi,
I am new in this forum as I am about to buy a old 911 apparently from 1970. that would be my first one, so i have a lot of doubt, furthermore because here in mexico it is hard to find parts , or someone to fix it...
The owner told me that it was a 1970 with a 1975 body kit and a 2.4L engine (with Weber carbs), but i would like to check with you before buying it:
The numbers I got are:
Chassis: 9110101976
Engine (vertical number on the side of the blower): 610 95 11
Number on the top of the blower: 901 106 101 5R
Other thing, the bodywork is in great shape, the gear box is manual five, with the first gear on the bottom left apparently and then 2,3,4, 5 in H. Direction has no play, it seems to have bleinstein suspension....
The block is leaking a little bit (it's greasy underneath, and I could see some little oil on the ground) but the car is park there since a while so I don't know what to think...
What is average price of such 911?
