Its Seinfeld alright.

On the subject of babies, when I was an intern there was this elderly, very experienced and knowledgeable colleague who would take the med students for the delivery room tour. Checking all the newborn babies and teaching the students the signs and symptoms of inborn diseases.
He was a bit of a joker though and you never really knew what he had up his sleeve.
This one time, on the rounds, he comes into a delivery room and immediately recognize the mother as a former colleague, but he doesn´t make any sign of noticing her. The crowd of med students gather around him as he checks the baby. He looks at the baby and with a loud and clear voice declares: "That is an unusually ugly baby!" and leaves the room. The students virtually in chock and the mother in tears.
