I just setup a 96GB Kingston SSD as my primary disk on my desktop. Just remember, unlike HDDs, if the SSD fails the data is mostly likely lost. On a normal HDD at least the data can be recovered by physical means...

Best to pair a SSD and a physical drive in a virtual mirror raid (Win 7 lets you do this). That way you have the speed advantage of the SSD and the redundancy of a HDD.
