Some folks just have an irrational need to believe in dumb crap. Some kind of psychological disorder.
I used to work with a guy who believed in big foot, aliens, loch ness, lots of dumb stuff.
He actually had a metal hat to protect his brain. "Oh they're up there ,watching and listening, you just can't see them".

He also paid $50 for plans to convert his truck to run on water. That didn't work out BTW, who could have seen that coming.

He doesn't work there anymore, he left voluntarily.

Seems like every dork walking this planet has a camera, a cell phone with a camera, or some other type of digital recording device.
You'd think with billions of cameras ready at all times, if there were really aliens then SOMEONE would actually get a real photo or vid that wasn't all blurry or faked.
