I got my first bug at 16. Started restoring it, and totaled in the middle, while sitting on a milk crate. Second one at 21 (see my projects below).
I have always liked the 914, but thought they were $$$ because of being a Porsche. I also didnt even know they were made by VW until a few years ago (24).
Am I a "Late Bloomer" on account of ignorance?
