FWIW, I rented a 2011 Ford Mustang V6 Convertible for three days in Michigan last week. I must say that I thought it was quite a car for the buck. Decent powerplant, great handling, good looks outside, but what really impressed me was the interior. Ford seems to have finally matched the Japanese in terms of texture, quality of materials (esp seats and gauges) and even the ergonomics were pretty good. As for the top - zero wind noise when closed.
The last Ford I drove was an 07 GT500, and I think they've actually come quite a way since then.
It was great blasting down the back roads of Southern MI.
