your reaction is completely normal. Especially after what he did.
Good thing is you recognise that it can turn ugly really fast and act accordingly.
I don't know what your daughter thinks of all this, I just hope she does what is best for her and her son, and that is staying the F away from such a lowlife. (I am actually a bit surprised that she let's him visit. I hope she's not trying to see whether they can get back together)
Weren't the cops looking for the POS SIL?? I'd give them a call and let them know where to find him. It's better that they take care of him than you... Better for him and for you (and your family)
Hope it all works out for the best very soon. Nobody needs this crap in their life.
