I have seen the light!
At 12:30 AM i hear an ATV coming up the driveway...then another...and a pick-up truck.
Washington Electric Co-Op to the rescue.
So i dress my feet and go out and show them were the gate is to get into the back pasture
were the line is down. About 45 min. later one of them drives up and tells me that they will have my power on in a few minutes but they can't climb the next pole up the line as it's too rotten and will need to be replaced so the other 4 houses above us will have to wait till today when they bring a new pole.
Watching them climb to the top of the power pole with a flashlight makes me glad i don't have that job. At least it's was warm and dry........and to think they have to do that when it's 20 below zero after a winter storm. Hope they make good money.
Offered to brew them up some coffee but they declined as they had more work to do.
