Just having a job in this blanked-up economy is a luxury. My dad (EE) worked for TI for 30 years and he had to find out from a buddy in a different cost center that they were closing down the division that he had been heading up (designed all systems for Bosch). Our long time family friend in Germany was his boss! (read- a**hole)
I know plenty of people that would jump at this job/any job here in Austin.
