So, I also have an early (1970) style sliding cable window regulator. My window is out of adjustment. The back corner of the window, doesn't crank high enough. When the front corner of the window (the corner that meets the window triangle) reaches maximum height, the rear corner still has about 1/2 inch to go. At that point I can pull it up with my hand because it is loose (but it doesn't stay).

On the later window regulators, there is a cool adjusting bolt exactly for this sort of adjustment but I don't see a similar adjusting mechanism for the early sliding cable system.

Any advice?
