I just replaced the passenger seat section on mine and that is the same piece I used. I just cut out what I needed and used bottle jacks and a porta-power to get a nice tight fit then welded in place. I drilled out the spot welds in the old brackets and used the seat to position then for welding. There is also a seat support piece that welds to the bottom under the outer seat bracket.
