Drove my 01 basic Boxster from Sacramento to Houston. Girl friend flew to Vegas and joined me there. Got as high as 28 MPG on the highway. Was very pleased to set cruise control at 100 during driving through lower AZ, NM and TX. Houston Porsche dealers want more for maintenance than CA dealers (oil change $220 vs $140 in CA). Heat here is killing me making top down driving a thing for the night not the day.
Still loving the Porsche.
