It seems that hats are coming back, and that the traditional rules of when to remove the hat are being eroded or ignored by the young hipsters who say "the hat is part of my look".

Well, I don't much care if someone takes his hat off indoors; the only situations about which I feel strongly are the National Anthem (anyone's) and churches (unless it is a synagogue and I see others wearing hats).
