Mine didn't.
Had a Mark I. It had the same exact bumper as the Mark II.
Never saw one with a split bumper of any year. Have a pic?
Mark III and on had the raised bumper (for DOT bumper height law) that IMO looked a lot better.
The GT-6 had the same bumper.
