The window is 104 years old. It's too far gone to just cover over with a layer (good idea tho). I was thinking two new layers of ply. One slightly larger so the glass has a ledge to sit on. I like the marine ply and stainless ideas.

The window is decorative (now) you can see the vinyl window that I put in when I built the 3rd floor room. It still has to open to let some air thru on that floor.
