Mike, I believe one should always attempt to end a membership or club on a positive note. That is difficult in many situations, but the membership needs guys like you who will look out for their best interests and transparency.

Some of the leadership in these types of clubs have little or no power in the rest of their lives and exercise extreme methods when given a little power. If I remember correctly, it is an RC club, which is your passion. Leave on good terms at a time of your choice, David
