If it is truly perfect and original, I could see a collector paying somewhere close to 2k if you leave it original. If you slightly cafe it, the value IMO would be reduced to $1500 or less(assuming the bike presently is complete and original).

An all out extensive cafe build that is not cobbled "might" make it worth several thousand, but don't hold your breath.

IOW, IMO you should leave it original. If it were a ratty typical bike of that era, you might go from $500 to $1000 with a quicky simple cafe treatment, but ultimately due to the mass quantities produced this anemic common little bike is just not worth a lot of money.

I invested countless custom build hours (equivalent of several thousand dollars worth of skilled craftsman's time) and over $1000 in parts building my "fairly nice" CB450 cafe racer and I bet I would have a hard time finding someone to pay me much over $2000 for it.
