The short NRG quick release is terrible. I tried one and quickly removed it. It had too much play (right out of the box) and was anything but "quick" to release. Go with the Snap Off. Bolt on quick releases have to have something to bolt to, so a stock hub which is integrated with the stock wheel won't work. If you want to spend some $$$, look at the Rothsport setup which combines a custom short hub with a quick release that is modeled after the Porsche Motorsport design.
