After a year and 8 months my 911 is finally done (is it really ever?) My 74 911s started life as a semi rusted shell and after many hours of blood, sweat and two cortisone shots...we are cruising!
Her suspension is from an 80 sc and has been totally gone through, larger sway bars, new front suspension pan, running 9’s & 8’ Fuchs, a red-neck rebuild on a euro 3.0 with Weber’s, salvaged interior from an unlucky 911 in Santa Cruz...just to mention a few. This car is a part of me especially knowing how much skin and blood I left on every jagged edge.
Our celebration was twofold, number one it's our 13th wedding anniversary and two the completion of Ruby. We decided to head to the coast to escape the valley heat and spend some time in Bodega Bay/ Jenner. I can't tell you how much fun we had on those coastal twisties...we loved every minute of it.
I would like to publically thank three Pelicans; Glen P., Tim & Glenn
A few pics of her coming to her new home and some candid shots…
Thanks,
Richard
