Thanks Jim. For the most part, I use the lingo. But when I describe anything, I do not so as to not confuse those not familiar with that way of speaking. I use the scale to show the size of items I am working on. My primary use for it is rough measurement of stock and to check the center of my tool bit on a lathe. It does have 6ths and 32nds on the other side.
