Just about to say that...
I asked, got a very timid 'yes'.
Over 5 months of this strange sorta engagement, that yes turned into a no.
I literally know the exact time and place I had the happiest moment of my life, when she said yes. We were sitting in a sandbox in the town park under some swingsets at 1:30AM. It was June 10th. A thursday.
When I dropped her off at the airport as she left me last October, definitively one of the saddest.
