How big is the TV? I'm guessing it would be on the large side.
Why not make a trestle like thing on wheels for it??? That way you can roll it into the garage on your own instead of having to dismount it from the wall.
Anyways.... A regular wall mount for a TV might work. Some models have a hook and lock system.
