Great footage. I wish I'd been born a few decades earlier when I see this stuff.

I'll take exception to the track day for rich guys comment. I race vintage in the PNW and have plenty of track days under my belt as well. They don't compare. There are plenty of rich guys out at a vintage race but also plenty of weekend warriors maintaining their own Formula Vees and other cheaper cars and who just love to race. The rich guys are also pushing their cars hard. The difference is they have a crew to fix em :-)

We've had two of these incidents in the last couple of years. You hate to see them but this is the result of hotly contested close racing. This pic was sent to the club to remind us about the importance of arm restraint use and fit. This incident happened right behind me in a race. Saw most of it in my left mirror.
