There are still at least a couple of "good joints" in W-S that have been around for decades Ian, one is worthy of making the drive when I need a "fix". Gimme a shout if you're ever in this neck of the woods again! I hear what you guys in TX are saying about the "chain" vs. "shack" type of place...same applies here for pork, 'cept there are no "chains" that I'm aware of. I'm not biased...I like 'em both equally well, but "pork rules" around here and you simply can't find good brisket etc. unless it's off my smoker. A Memphis style chain joint (Corky's) didn't last a year some time back...some people have no clue and it never attracted a following. Sooo...I'll try to keep my expectations in check as I wait for BEEF Q
