Paint Pump Gun Storage

I've got a Graco paint gun, I just bought it and painted my house with it, and now I want to store it so that in a year or a week, or 10 years, whenever I need it next, it works and works like new.

I've run a couple of gallons of water through it, taken it down to the filter, cleaned it thoroughly, and now I need to know what the pro's do - should I put a little light oil on it on all the metal parts and wrap it in a plastic bag?

The paint pump I have calls for a few ounces of pump protector for long term storage, but this new gun doesn't have specific instructions, other than flush thoroughly.

(BTW, this new gun is about 1000 times easier to clean than the old one that I used to have, about ten years ago. I could never get the nozzle clean on that thing, and I ended up tossing it, because of it's ****ty design. )

Any help would be appreciated.
