One of the most enjoyable and trouble-free new cars we've ever owned. I ordered ours in 2003, a 6MT coupe. Had a wonderful drivetrain. At 7000 miles we added a Procharger supercharger, and drove it for 70,000 miles with no problems except one belt & pulley set change. As far as brakes, ours came stock with Brembos, so NO problem there. Looked brand new when we sold it to a neighbor who also owns a 370Z drop-top. Looked at 3-series BMW when we bought it, but the Infiniti got the nod. As i was said above, it was a "Z car with a back seat". ALso a great community of owners, good forums as well.

EDIT: as far as traction control, we always drove with the VDC switched "off"
