I bought mine in maybe 1990 or 91 at a place in San Francisco called something like Automodelli. Pretty sure I paid $89 for mine brand new and they had maybe 6 of them.
Yeah.....shoulda bought all 6.
I guess it's all relative to the price of the cars though. A nice 73 Carrera RS was sold for under a hundred grand back then. Now they're going for three times that......
