As some may remember, my father had a ICD implanted last year - basically a device that will shock the heart if it decides to stop. Yesterday he was complaining about chest pains so his private nurse brought him to the hospital - they kept him over night for tests. Turned out to be heartburn! My brother looked at his med/food log that the nurse keeps for him. Looks like over the past three days he has had pepperoni pizza, chicken parm, garlic bread, a bottle of red wine, a bunch of fried eggs and spuds, two lobster rolls, ice cream, and a large Greek salad!

Gee, I wonder why he has chest pains??? At 87 at least he is enjoying himself...
