1. Get the fuel tank to as low as possible.
2. Remove the hose that goes from the bottom of the tank to the fuel pump
at the fuel pump end.
3. Drain fuel into an acceptable container.
4. Remove the other end of hose.
5. Take a large wrench (17 or 19?) and unscrew the aluminum strainer housing. Be careful as more fuel will come out.
You can backflush the strainer with carb cleaner.
