110923-N-DR144-826 PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 23, 2011) Chief Aviation Electronics Technician Michael Craycraft holds an owl he rescued from a deck edge scupper on the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during flight operations. Craycraft has arranged to have the owl flown back to California on a carrier onboard delivery aircraft.
