I agree about the colors, the one I got is black with subtle pinstripes and a single vent.
I don't buy very bold colors or Paisley ties (looks like an old fart kind of thing). I like patterned ties and subtle pinstripe shirts.
I also don't think the double breasted jackets look all that great on me.
I don't really need it for work since I work behind the scenes. But I find it feels nice to wear, IMO.
