...but I had a bout of that about 5 or 6 years ago at work, and it was very unsettling... the room was spinning and I felt nauseated.
An ENT or internist can give you some tips on how to get rid of it... there is a protocol of lying on a bed with your head off the edge, turning it different ways to get the otoliths moved to where they're not causing a problem. That worked to a pretty good degree with me. Also was told to take Benadryl and just stay in bed until it got better.
