Souinds like the electrical part of the ign switch is going bad, very common problem. Odd things start to happen, no climate control-OOPS it works again, can't turn car off or on, everything lights up car does not turn over etc...

$12 NAPA 4A0905849B- Change out time ~45 minutes the first time, 15 after that. Porsche does not offer this part anymore. Audi, VW, NAPA, PEP Boys etc... do.
