My father in law suffers from periodic bouts of vertigo. For him it is triggered by diet and they have traced it to MSG. They went to Captain D's the other night for dinner on the recommendation of a neighbor. Apparently the food was loaded with MSG - he had a three day bout with vertigo thereafter.
