Your better sticking with your first idea and moving the na interior to the 951, it's a straight swap. If you go the other route you have to swap ALL the mechanical, engine and some of the electrical system from the 951 to the na. You also have to swap the body panels mentioned above including fenders and if they are not the same color that means prep and paint.
Problem is you have early offset na and late offset 951, so you have abs components and wiring to deal with as well as all the suspension, bodywork, engine and mechanicals.
Also consider you will have an na vin so resale will suffer. Spend the $500 for a clean title on the 951, swap the interior and you will have a clean, titled 951.
EDIT: oops, just read the title, sure it said 87 951 but it's an 86 so both early offset without abs. I still think you would be better off in the long run swapping the na interior into the 951 though.
