Someone will dig up the real #'s.
Most were built in 70. ~1700 imported into the US. (not that we're US centric...)
Something over 300 were 71.
240 or so were 72. (Unclear if any were actually brought to the US by Porsche.. most seem to say "none")
So if we have one, we should "hold"? (LOL)
