Sorry but Kalifornia is fukked up in so many ways that I cannot see how you guys take it. I moved East years ago and there simply is not enough $$ to get me to return.
For the potties and so on, head down to Chula Vista then walk across the border. Get a real potty that uses 3-4 gallons per flush. Take it home, bolt it down then put 2-3 bricks in the water chamber and modify it how YOU want it to flush.
It will be a cold day in hell before I let the govt tell me how to do my faucets and potties... especially in the land of "fruits and nuts!"
