I don't think any phone that's got a huge LCD touchscreen color display has good battery life.

I'm on my second Android. I haven't had any problems with them. I rooted the last and did have some small issues with some of the hacked ROMS that I had installed, but the last ROM was very stable. Heck, my first got dropped in water until it was completely submerged (twice months apart), while powered up, and after it dried out both times it still worked fine for nearly a year (until I upgraded).

I haven't rooted the new one because I don't need any features that it doesn't do out of the box.

Many/Most of the newest Android phones have forward facing phones. Honestly, I have no interest in a ff phone.
