901 trans "sings"
I have a 67 with a 901 5 speed. When I decelerate the trans sings or howls. Takes about 15 miles or so to start. If the clutch is in...in gear or neutral no noise. if the selector is in neutral and the clutch is out ...no noise. Speed makes no difference except that heavy decell makes more noise. If I lift off of the gas it will howl in any gear.
