after rebuilding the pedal cluster and replacing the clutch cable i finally gave in and sent the flywheel,clutch, pressuree plate and throwout bearing back to Kennedy Engineered Products for testing. i could not get the clutch to freely disengage. Monty from KEP just called and the pressure plate diaphram was cracked. it was all new stuff and was covered by warranty. thank goodness as i did not have any other possible answers to the problem. hopefully i will be ready for the street again...soon!
