Well, GPS stopped working on my iPhone. Took it to Apple genius bar. At first the "genius" tried to tell me it was working until I showed him that his did the the sonar ping animation around the you are here blue push pin in google map and mine did not. Then he had to redo the reset and restore software, took almost an hour. Then took it outside and found still no GPS ping. Out of warranty options were $149 for 4 or $199 for upgrade to 4S. Company I work for is 'Not doing upgrades at this time." So either I let them pay the $149 for replacement or spend $499 out of pocket for a new 4S.

I now have a new iPhone 4 with working GPS. Took about 30 minutes to get all my stuff restored because of the problems with my backup being iOS5 and the new phone being only iOS4. Had to go thru the motions 2 times and re-enter all my account passwords a couple of times.

I may check into the specifics of the $200 for your gently used 4 trade in thing since this one is now basically brand new.

The new wireless iPhone sync in iOS 5 is pretty cool. Also like the new tasks app syncing up with all my accounts and Outlook/iCal on my desktop.
