Our house backs up to an open preserve. We hear coyotes every single day. As I am typing this it is 3:47 PM and I just heard them in the hills. They are most active at night (of course) but I have seen them in our community all hours of the day.
Here is Scout - he is definitely on their menu - and he knows it. He will NOT go outside without human supervision. Reading JB's thread I realize my faith in 6' fences is misplaced.
