Oil consumption issues
Not sure anyone is lurking on the Volvo Forums but in the event someone is out there have a strange issue with my 2001 XC70. I'm consuming approx 1QT of oil every 850-1,000 miles, car doesn't leak or smoke, could my rings be going, an independent says my valve seats are worn or cracked? Wouldn't it be smoking if that's the case? Any info greatly appreciated, terrified I have a ticking time bomb.
