I had the same problem. After much tracing it turned out to be the engine compartment light grounded out. It is on the same circuit as the left parking/turn signal lights. However I kept blowing fuses and you didn't mention that. Otherwise +1 on cleaning up the fuse contact points. Amazing how little corrosion it takes to loose contact.
