If it has not failed, you may not need to replace it. I put a new clutch in my daughter's 328 at 175k miles, keeping the original dual mass flywheel. It has 250k miles now.

If you do need to replace it, the good news is that the price has come down. When I did the 328i, I priced a new flywheel on line at $900.
