I was under the impression that these cars (cheetahs) ran a 4-speed directly connected to a corvette IRS center section (as in this image) and further, the center section pictured above is looney tunes big and those heads are nothing close to period correct (GM made some "splayed valve" SBC heads that look like those pictured but LONG after the cheetah's were being raced). Any help?
