Without much erudition...
What makes us grieve?
I don't know...we grieve as a result of feeling the primal pain of loss.
It hurts...it hurts real bad.
Then we notice that, even if we can't explain why we grieve, eventually it's not as freuquent and as deep.
Watch a dog grieve...they do it right.
