The Fox's were the best designed American side by side ever made. Although not really any more sophisticated than an Anson & Deeley design. It was much better engineered than the LC Smith and the needlessly over-complicated Parker. I would sleeve the barrels to restore the length and choke, as well as provide a proper balance to the gun. A new stock is easily made with correct demensions and cast.
Look to purchase a used Leopold scope. Then send it in to Leopold, they will honor the lifetime warranty.
